The Sunsong Classroom
The Sunsong class are the youngest of our kids. Children in this class are typically start at 2 1/2 to 3 years of age.  Teacher Chris will be back again as the Sunsong teacher for the 07/08 school year.

The Waterlily Classroom
The waterlily class is comprised of children usually 3 to 4 years of age.   Teacher Tynan will remain with the Waterlilies for the 07/08 class year and will be working with returning staff member, Teacher Jenny. A new teacher, Marta will work with Thimble in the afternoon.

The Stargarden Classroom
The Stargarden class is primarily for the schools 4 to 5 year old children.   Teacher Melissa will be back again along with Teacher Katie, this time they will teach with new full time staffer, Alex.

The Skylark Classroom
The Kindergarten children of the Skylark class spend the year with us learning in a small group setting (10:1).
The kindergarten is a 5 full day per week adventure featuring:
Writers Workshop: weekly practice to develop writing skills
Morning Message: modeling writing, sentence structure and vocabulary building.
Academic Choice: language center with rotating activities, listening station, writing practice, matching games etc.
Alphabet Story: Cumulative Narrative used to develop phonemic awareness and writing fluency.
Math & Science: Science gives direct application to math in monthly themes, that include; geology, biology, matter, force, earth, gardening, diversity & interdependence, collecting & interpreting data.
Ethical Values: each month the skylarks are introduced to a different value through stories, sharing, and group activities October- Inner light    November - Benevolent Truthfulness   December - Sharing    January - Helping Hands    February - Simple Living    March - Cleanliness    April - Contentment    May - Community Service    June - Circle of love   
We are blessed to have Teacher Norina instructing the Skylark children again for the 07/08 class year.
